It all begins
It all began on the Second day the earth was created (which happened to be a Thursday). A small newt began to lick the slime off of a rock. He would have rather had a peach, but he had to make due with the slime. At a nearby ant hill an ant named Adam (get it... Adam Ant, the musician...that wasn't intended, but rather, just happened that way) was transporting food for the queen when he had a great idea. Adam was an inventor, and had had many great ideas. He had an idea that would help the ants to be more productive. It was a grand idea. (This has nothing to do with the newt, but it is all a big story so it doesn't matter.) Well as Adam constructed his invention he had come along many problems. He couldn’t figure out why his idea wasn’t working when along came the newt. Adam was looking very frustrated when the newt asked Adam if he knew where he could find a peach. The newt very much wanted a peach and Adam asked the newt if he had a name. The newt replied " Since I have no parents or at least remember what happened to them, I don’t know my name". Adam told the newt that since he didn’t have a name that he would give him one. Adam asked " Is there any name that you are particularly fond of"? The newt said to Adam that he didn’t really mind, so Adam paused for a moment and then he blurted out "Ouch!". The newt asked if that was to be his name and Adam looked down at his foot as it had been smashed by something. The perpetrator turned out to be a semi-large can. Adam bent down and picked the item up and looked at the label on it. He began to look over the can and then Adam took out a can opener and opened the can and handed it to the newt. Adam said to the newt "Here is your peaches and name". The newt was curious by what Adam said and the newt asked "So what is my name?". Adam pointed to the can and said "Matt". The newt looked at the can of peaches and on the can it said Matt’s peaches. The newt newly named Matt had a smile on his face and said "So be it". Matt then began to eat the peaches and said with a giant mouth full "Thank you". Adam was tired of working and asked Matt if he wanted to do something so that he could relax. Matt told Adam that he was up for anything since all he had been doing was eating the slime and looking for some peaches. Now that he had eaten his peaches he was satisfied. Adam suggested they go for a walk and hopefully stumble upon an adventure. They then began walking through the town and seeming to be towards the woods. As they walked through the town, all sorts of ideas were running through their heads. Matt was simply satisfied with having eaten his peaches where as Adam was beginning to think of a girl who he had been sweet on. Adam then struck up a conversation with Matt and began explaining this girl to him. Matt asked " What is her name?" Adam replied "Lisa". Adam then told Matt all about her, and how she was so great. Lisa felt differently though (but this was all because she didn’t know him). Adam was a bit frustrated because he didn’t know how to show Lisa how great they were together. Adam stopped then and ended that part of the conversation.
As they grew nearer to the woods they had been talking about their odds and ends, and this and that. They then entered the forest and walked about half in because after that you can only walk the other half going out. They then went back into town not being very stimulated by the forest because nothing exciting happened that day in the forest. As they walked through town they were looking at the different shops and wondering if they should go look around to waste some time. They then decided to go and get something to drink, because they had become parched from their walk. They walked into a café and went to the counter. Adam stepped up and ordered first. Adam asked for a strawberry juice then Matt ordered a peach juice. Their drinks came up and they grabbed the cups (the cups were made of hollowed out pieces of wood and were very nice to drink out of) then went and sat down. They sat and drank for awhile. They continued on and on, talking about this and that. After a short pause Adam thought to himself that he would like to go back to his workshop. Adam then excused himself and the two spoke of doing something at a later date. Then finally Adam went back to his workshop to sit down and think (this is how most of the characters relax). After Adam had left Matt thought for a moment of what he was going to do. He finally decided on going back to the forest, as for it was getting dark and he wanted to lay down and look at the sky, as he liked to do occasionally. Matt crawled under some leaves and snuggled himself in. He then began to look at the stars as they came out and his mind was full of wonder. He had all sorts of questions, but it seemed to him that he didn’t have any of the answers. This thought vexed him very much, and also made him feel insecure (which in turn made him depressed). He was also thinking about Adam and how he knew whom he loved. Matt felt lonely and thought that he wasn’t loved. He then cleared his mind and just laid there and looked at the sky (he wished that he could be more like the sky, or even a star, for the stars just hang there and don’t even have thoughts so they don’t have worries, and who doesn’t love the stars). After about an hour of this he went to where he was staying to go to bed (Matt loved sleep because this was the one great thing that didn’t cost him anything and it also made him feel good because he could do or be whatever he wanted in his dreams).
His dream takes a turn
After he fell asleep it all began, He began to have a wonderful dream. He dreamt he was with the girl that he thought he was great with. In his dream they did all sorts of wonderful things. He felt as though he was having the time of his life. It all started when he first saw her. Then he noticed that she had glanced over at him. She was getting pictures taken of her of the seductive sort. She looked so beautiful. She was wearing a tan shirt that had string instead of buttons and was loosely tied at the top. She also had on some cut off shorts that were very skimpy. Then as it was later on in his dream he had bumped into her. He just stood there not knowing what to do or say. It turns out that she said something, and that something was "Hi". When she said that, he thought he would melt in her hands. She had said it in the sexiest voice, but yet she hadn’t said it in any special way. It seemed that they were at some glamorous hotel. They were standing outside where there was a beautiful pool and all sorts of lively plants. They had been just kind of strolling along, and seemed to be walking towards a set of train tracks. It was very dismal ahead. It seemed gray and depressing, but yet he felt so full of life. They had started walking next to them, then they appeared on a bridge by a street. Then his dream jumped. They appeared by a baseball park. It appeared that they had climbed up a wall and entered the park. They then walked up and over the bleachers, which appeared to be individual recliner chairs. They then went towards the top and then sat down. He had looked down at the field, but he couldn’t see it. They had been sitting near a corner and therefore couldn’t see the field somehow. They were sitting there talking, and all the while he was thinking to himself how great this was. The girl of his dreams began to lean in closer to him and then started to lick on his ear. He enjoyed it very much, but for some reason he felt bad. In the back of his mind he had remembered someone. He had soon forgotten that though, and then kissed his dream girl. It was a very sweet and sensual kiss. She then got up and sat on his lap. She then began to untie the strings on her shirt and pressed her chest against his face and then began with her hands to rub him. This dream continued, and then slowed down. His dream eventually took a turn. His next dream began, and it took place in his room. He saw that the door had been opened and was cracked now. He had always left the door to his room shut. He had felt as though he had been violated. His mind raced with what could have happened, and wondered what the person had found out. Not that he had any terrible secrets, but he was just that way. He walked in and saw that his room had been cleaned more than it was before. He saw that a few little items were missing (probably thrown away by whoever was in there). His dreamed abruptly ended from terror. He awoke and then knew that it was a dream, but this one was strange because it felt so real. He then gently went back to sleep. Only to awake the next morning.
The next day
The next morning Matt awoke to the craving of honey. He then thought of Adam and wondered if he was awake yet. He decided to get cleaned up and head on over there. Matt had a specific morning ritual. He first got out of bed and sat for a moment to collect his thoughts and then would go to his warm shower. He would usually go and eat, but since he had a craving for honey he didn’t want to spoil his appetite. He then went to Adam’s place and knocked on the door. He stood there for a moment to see if he would answer the door, and within a few seconds Adam opened the door and warmly greeted Matt and told him to come in. Adam was just thinking about what he was going to do for breakfast and since Matt was here he asked him if he had eaten. Matt told him about his craving for honey and so how he hadn’t eaten yet. Adam told Matt that they would go out and both get something to eat. Some honey for Matt and whatever Adam decided he was in the mood for. They went to a quaint little restaurant that they both knew of and waited to be seated. They were then showed where to sit and got their menus and started to browse over them. The waiter came back and asked, "Are you two gentlemen ready to order?" Matt looked at Adam and then Matt said, " Yes, I would like some toasted bread with honey" he then pause and finished " and some milk". The waiter then turned his attention towards Adam. Adam sat silent for a moment and then began to order "Ah yes, I would like some eggs over easy and bacon and some sausage links, and I would also like some milk, and that will be all thanks". The waiter then walked away from the table to prepare their orders. Then as the two sat there Matt began to think to himself. He had been thinking about his dream last night. Adam then interrupted by saying " I like Blueberries" and Matt exclaimed "What?!". Adam stated, " Oh sorry, I was just thinking out loud". Matt just ignored it and went back to his thoughts. Then their waiter arrived with their food and placed it in front of them. Matt grabbed his fork and knife and began to cut up his toast and honey. His honey was very sweet and thick, and was slowly running off on to his plate. Adam did the same with his food and they both sat there and enjoyed their food, not saying much to one another in between bites. They finished up and left the restaurant.
Next chapter
Matt asked Adam how his invention was coming along and Adam replied that it was going well. Matt said that if Adam ever got stuck that he had some books that might help him or give him some ideas. Adam told Matt that he would remember that. Matt then said that he needed to get home and that maybe they could get together later. Adam agreed and said that he had some stuff he wanted to attend to so it was okay. Matt left basically because he wanted some time to himself. He felt bad for leaving Adam, but his feeling guilty was alleviated by knowing that Adam had something to do. Matt went back to his place to sit there and think. He wanted to reflect on his thoughts of his dream and things that he had done in the past. As Matt sat and thought he felt the need to do something. He didn’t know what, but he knew he should do something. He wanted to write a letter, but he didn’t know who to. So he searched his mind for someone he could write to. He wished he could write to his dream girl, but she was just that, a dream. He felt urged to find her, but he wasn’t sure that she existed, and even if so where could he find her. He went on dwelling on the dream girl for a long time. He sat down in his little wooden chair that was seated next to the window and began to look out at the beautiful scenery. The land around his home was very pleasant. There were lots of trees and a little pond with some rocks on the edge. It was very nice to look at. Looking out the window at these things sometimes depressed him. Perhaps it was because they were good for something and he didn’t feel that he was important or good for anything. Matt also worried about his life. He wondered if he was using his time wisely, and if he was doing the right things. He then started looking around at his home. It was time to do something. He decided to go on a journey to look for something. He didn’t know what, but he wanted to find something. He thought about going back over to Adam’s to see if he would come with him, but he didn’t want to bore him, especially if he had something better to do. He decided that he would go to the local café to see if could meet someone there. Matt liked to meet new people and was interested in others. Matt thought he himself had problems though, he thought that he had trouble expressing himself or finding the right words, but he was very out going. Matt wanted all the best things in life for others, and always put himself in last. He put his feelings aside to help others. Matt then immediately spotted a young girl that seemed distressed. She sat there with a blank stare and then let a sigh out. Matt walked up to her and asked her if something was wrong. She replied no, but he knew something was the matter. He took a seat at her little table and said that if she needed to talk he would be there to listen. The girl said " Nothing is really the matter" she then asked " do you ever feel so down and lonely that it just hurts to breath?". Matt told her " Yeah, I know how you feel, you just have to keep moving. You can’t give up just because your life doesn’t seem all that great right now". (Matt could always give good advice and help others, but he never seemed able to help himself.) The girl said " Yeah, I know what you mean, but it’s just so hard" Matt replied " I know it is, but that’s the only way to get to being better, otherwise you’ll just stay this way". Then Matt asked her again if she needed to talk about anything and she finally gave in and told him her problem. She told Matt that her problem wasn’t actually her problem, but someone else’s. The girl told him that her parents had been fighting and she hated to see anyone fight. So she left. In the back of Matt’s mind he had forgot to introduce himself or even ask for her name. He then asked her while she had been sitting there silent for a moment, what her name was. The girl said her name was Katie. Matt then said " Hi, I’m Matt". He then put his hand out towards her in hopes that she would shake his hand. It ended up that Matt held her hand for she began to cry. He then slid his chair over to the side of her as so he could embrace her. He knew that she must have felt bad and that she could use a little tenderness. After all was said and done he asked if she wanted to go out and do something in hopes that it would make her feel better. She accepted and asked what he thought they should do. Matt hadn’t been doing much and wasn’t sure exactly what to do. He then suggested that they could walk to this nice little pond that was near his home. She thought that would be nice. As they walked Katie began to tell Matt about things that were scaring her (the basic pressures and questions of everyday life that no one really has the answers to). She worried a lot and wished that things would just be alright. Matt told her to just hang in there and gave her some other advice, and then before they knew it they were at the pond. They sat down near the pond next to each other and Matt held her with compassion and told her that she would be fine. They sat like that for a while not saying a word. The sun started to go down and the reflection on the pond was a sight to behold. The glorious oranges and reds came out of the sky, while the dimming sunlight beaming off the pond was beautiful. That’s why Matt loved it here, and hoped that Katie would feel the same way and hopefully forget about her problems at least for a little while. Matt cared about everyone and tried to help as much as he could. As it began to grow darker and darker Matt suggested that she should go home. He asked if she wanted to go back home or if she should go back there and then he stood there and waited for her response. Matt said that if she needed a place to stay that she was welcome to stay with him. Since she didn’t really want to go home she asked if it was really okay if she could stay with him, and he told her that it was fine as long as she wouldn’t get in any trouble. She told him that it was okay. So they then went to Matt’s house. He asked if she was hungry at all and she was a bit hungry so she took him up on the offer. She was very thankful for all that he was doing and thanked him often. He didn’t mind and found it a little humorous. He told her that she didn’t have to thank him anymore because he was glad to do it. She had sat down in one of his little wooden chairs while he went to go prepare her food. Matt asked if she was thirsty and wanted something to drink while he was making the food. She scoped out what he had to drink and asked for some hot tea with a little honey in it. Matt made it for her quickly and then gave it to her. Matt told her that tea with honey in it was good for you when you have a sore throat. He then went back into the kitchen to finish making the food. She sat there sipping on the tea and after Matt finished with the food he went to where she was sitting, but she had fallen asleep. Matt stood there for a moment watching her sleep so peacefully. He tried to grab the cup from her hand so that she wouldn’t spill it while she was sleeping. He had done it very smoothly, but after he had gotten it out of her hands she woke up. She apologized for falling asleep and noticed that the food was ready. He had prepared some soup and sandwiches. He asked if she was still hungry and she said she still wanted to eat. They both sat at the table and began to eat the food. After they finished eating they continued to sit at the table talking. Matt then suggested they both get some sleep. Matt showed her to his bed and told her to sleep there. He offered her some pajamas and waited while she changed into them in the next room. He stayed there until she had gotten into bed and then tucked her in and then took the seat next to the bed. He watched her as she lay there and stayed until she had fallen asleep. He watched her sleep for a while, sitting there just thinking how innocent everyone is while they are sleeping. He couldn’t help but think if he was the same way. He couldn’t possibly imagine that he was innocent. He then immediately got out of the chair and jumped on the bed. He began to shake the bed violently and jumped up and down until he had woke her ass up.
HELLO
Meanwhile, Adam had been up to lots of interesting things. He had been busy doing lots of things. He had been organizing his shop and trying to arrange his experiments and data. He had gone through some of his old documents and looked back on his life and wondered if he had made a difference. As he went through the various documents he was proud of the theories and other things that he had discovered. He had a little grin on his face and told himself that he did what he could, and he was pleased with that. Meanwhile Matt was also taking a look back on past experiences. He was unhappy, he felt as though he hadn’t done enough with his life. He asked himself if he had anything to show for. He was ashamed of some past decisions and wished he could change them but knew that there was nothing to be done to take them back. He regretted so many things but knew that he had to keep moving forward. Every now and then he would be reminded of a memory. He had many that he were very good, but he couldn’t relive them, so he hoped that he would be able to create new memories worth looking back on. He tried to spend his life to the fullest. It was late in the night and Matt had done enough reminiscing for now. He felt tired but didn’t go to bed just yet. He went into his living room to sit down. As he went to his chair he glanced out the window into the night. The night looked crisp, and the air was clear. He decided to take a little detour and ended up outside instead of his usual spot in his chair in the living room by the window. Matt then took a seat on the dew-covered grass. He chuckled to himself that his posterior was wet. He looked up into the stars in the sky, and in his eyes it was almost like a little conversation was going on between the stars. Matt thought about how small he was compared to the universe, and that thought made him feel small and unimportant. He felt lonely and just wanted to feel loved. At this point Katie woke up and was wondering where Matt had gone and found him outside. Katie had Matt’s comforter wrapped around her. She quietly and slowly walked up to Matt’s side and seated herself close to him. She kind of snuggled into him, as for it was a bit chilly outside (but an overall nice night). Matt put his arm around her and squeezed her and gently started to rub her to give her a little warmth. Katie sat there and enjoyed being close to him and Matt enjoyed having her nearby. He then looked into her eyes and watched them as they sparkled in the starlight. They sat there for about twenty minutes and then both decided to go back inside. They went into the living room and decided to have a seat. Katie asked if everything was alright with him, and Matt said, "I’m fine, just wanted to enjoy the night". He then suggested they go to bed. Matt thought to himself for a minute realizing that they had to figure out a sleeping arrangement. Matt thought to himself that he would like to have someone to sleep beside him in bed, but thought that it wouldn’t be right if they slept together. Matt told Katie that he would sleep on the couch in the living room. She said, "Since it is your house I’ll sleep on the couch". Matt replied, "No, I’m telling you to sleep on my bed, don’t worry about it". She didn’t refuse for she didn’t want to sound rude or ungrateful. Matt then prepared the couch for his sleep and then went and tucked Katie in and said goodnight. He then went and laid down on the couch. As he laid there and began to drift off his thoughts were running through his day. While his brain went through those thoughts, he began to fall asleep, and his thoughts turned to dreams. And so this was to be the beginning of his sleep cycle.
Thoughts turn into Dreams
As his thoughts went through what had been done in the day, the majority of them were of Katie. He thought of how it would be to spend his life with her, and share past and future experiences with her. Then sleep overtook him and his thoughts turned into dreams. His mind frantically wandered and it started to begin again. His little night time movies that he enjoyed so much started. His dream started with the thoughts that he had kept in the back of his mind from earlier in the day, and then progressed. The first thing that started it was sitting there at the table in the cafe with Katie. They were sitting there and he reached out and held her hand. He then began to tell her how he thought he knew her, and his mind made him believe that this was more real than it really was. They were talking like they had already been involved for quite some time. They had been talking about how happy they were and then asked themselves what they wanted to do today. Matt threw out an idea that they should go for a walk. Katie thought that this was a great idea and they finished up at the cafe and began their walk. They began walking on the side of the road towards this off the beat path. The path that they were on led to Greenbeanville. The path went through this little secluded forest. As they were walking side-by-side holding hands, Matt gave a little squeeze of love(like lovers do sometimes, they’ll just hold each other a little tighter or gently squeeze the other’s hand a little tighter for a second). In both of their minds they were thinking how great it was to be with the other. They then took a little stop in this field. Then the dream turned the wooded field into a wide open field of grass and a beautiful cliff in the background with a waterfall running over it, going into a semi-winding river. They were lying there in the grass staring up at the sky. It was now night in his dream, so they were looking at the stars. As they were laying there they started to roll around in the dew and as they were doing that, he suddenly awoke. Although he had only been asleep for a little bit, he woke refreshed, mainly because of his dream and the feeling it gave him(the feeling of euphoria, and that everything is alright). Katie had come from the bedroom and sat down at the edge of the couch Matt had been sleeping on. She noticed that he had waken from his sleep and she apologized for waking him. Matt told her that she didn’t wake him up, but that he woke on his own. He then asked her if something was wrong. She told him that she was scared of what the future holds for her. Matt said that he knew that lots of people felt like that and assured her that it isn’t anything to worry about too much. Since there is nothing you can do to find out what lays ahead in the future that worrying about it didn’t enlighten anyone any more than before. Apparently Matt had helped reassure Katie a little, since she felt some relief. She was thinking to herself at the time that she was grateful that she had met him. She felt lucky to be in his presence. She then blurted, "I’m so lucky to be with you, thank you". Matt wasn’t sure what to say, he knew that he gave her some good advice, but didn’t want to come off like he was overconfident of himself. Matt then just plainly said, "Your welcome". The matter seemed to be settled at the moment, so he didn’t want to keep on with the subject, so he tried to change it up. Matt said to Katie, "Whenever you need or want you can just come over to my house." "If you ever just need to talk or need someone to be with because you feel lonely, it’s fine". Matt got up from the moist grass and offered a hand to Katie. Katie put her hand in his and was helped up by Matt. When she was up, she made sure Matt didn’t let go of her hand. They then walked back towards the house, but they stopped once they had reached the door. Katie had stopped him and then she took a look into his eyes. She then moved forward a little bit and gave Matt a hug and then leaned in and kissed him on the cheek. They then went on into the house silently.
A New Chapter in his Life
Matt had a lot of things going on his life. Some new things and just other miscellaneous stuff. Something new that was seemingly good was Katie. He felt something strong towards her. She made him feel good. But there were some bad things that were plaguing him. Life seemed so overwhelming to Matt, and he didn’t always know how to cope with that. He had just hoped for the best. He wanted things to go his way. Matt was a little bit negative, he felt he had bad luck in life. He always worried about the little things in life. Most people ignore them, but Matt didn’t. He wanted to do so much, but he had trouble starting. He wanted to make peoples problems go away. He wanted to talk to people and listen to them and be able to give them advice to help them, but wasn’t sure where to start. Matt would get frustrated that he couldn’t do more. He wanted the most of everything, but felt he wasn’t getting enough. He always wished he had more time. Life seemed to be to short for him, like it was moving to fast. He always pondered what the future had in store for him. He felt pressured to do something, but couldn’t find what it was. He struggled with that a majority of the time. What was he to do? He was trying to live his life up to the fullest, but he sometimes felt stuck.
Well one day soon, Katie had to leave. She had gone on to go do something with herself. Matt had felt deserted. He didn’t know what to do, and in despair he sat around his home sitting in his chair looking out the window. As he sat and looked out the window he often looked at the sky. He cried out loud, "What’s going to happen to me". Matt didn’t like what was going on in his life but he didn’t know what to do. Life just wasn’t what Matt wanted. The memory of Katie leaving was stuck in his head. All he could do was remember when she left. He played it over and over in his mind, and it was driving him mad. After days of his sitting there past, one day he stood up. It was one of those stands that had a look of importance and power. Matt wasn’t exactly sure what he was doing, but he walked out the door. He was on his way for Katie. Although he didn’t know where and when he’d get to her, he was for certain that he was going to do it. He stopped many places on his venture. At one stop he was sitting there and he noticed a little child staring at him. The kid gave Matt a smile and he returned one. Matt then spoke to the child and asked if he would like to see his tattoo. He moved in closer to the child and turned around and lifted the back of his shirt to reveal the tattoo. The child looked to view it and saw that it was garden of pretty flowers with the bright sun shining over it. The kid smiled once again and Matt lowered his shirt gave the kid one last smile and then got up to leave. As he left with the smile on his face, he patted the child on the head and left. When Matt had walked out of the restaurant and was standing on the sidewalk, he felt good inside, but that didn’t last long. Matt was thinking about Katie and was again worried about her. Walking down the sidewalk he was trying with all his power to not just burst into tears. He stopped along the way and sat down in a nice little place. It was nighttime and the stars were in view. The night sky was scattered with a few clouds but that didn’t stop a few of the stars from shining through. He sat and looked at the stars with his mind unfocused and withering. As Matt sat and thought he looked at this one particular star. As time past and he sat and he thought he continued to look at the star until he saw the star suddenly flicker and disappear. He hated the way he felt and didn’t know what to do. He decided to get in touch with Adam. After he got ahold of him, he made the usual conversation. And after they had gotten past the small talk Matt asked Adam what his life was really worth. Matt wondered what was keeping him here. What good was he? He didn’t feel special and nothing seemed right. Adam sat there listened tentatively and waited until Matt was finished. Adam sat there not knowing what to say. Adam sat there trying to think of an answer to give Matt but there was not much to give. But Adam did offer him this, "With every life untouched a soul is lost." They hung about and looked around at Adam’s things. Matt was focusing on Adam’s paintings that were hung on the wall. Matt also noticed a pile of other paintings leaned up against a corner. Matt stepped over there and flipped through the paintings that were left unhung. He looked at one particular painting. It was of a face that seemed to tell a story. Not a specific story, but of many different stories. Something drew him to that painting. It touched him in a deep way, but he felt he was missing something from it. Something was incomplete, he wasn’t sure what it was. It must not have been the painting. Well in either way, he moved to another spot where he tried to make himself more comfortable. The night continued with periods of silence. Between one of the awkward spots Matt excused himself and told Adam that he was going to leave then. Adam walked Matt to the door and thanked him for coming and Matt thanked Adam for having him over. Then Matt shook Adam’s hand and left. When he got outside he noticed that it had gotten quite chilly. He couldn’t tell at first because the warmth from Adam’s house hadn’t worn off yet. He crossed his arms to relieve himself from some of the coldness. As he walked aimlessly, he couldn’t help but wonder about that face. At that moment he knew he needed to get back home. He walked as fast as he could to get back. There was something of importance he needed to get out of the way. A note was to be written.
The Letter
Matt,
The past few weeks you’ve had no direction. You’re searching for something you don’t know how to find.
Good luck with your life, because I’m moving on. I’ve decided that what I need is something better.
I’m confident that I can make the right choices and get myself to a better place.
"Next Please"
After some self-motivation, Matt knew that he had to do some work to straighten things out. The first thing he did was to fix up and organize his thoughts. He tried working on his outlook of things and also worked a little on changing some other things around to help accommodate himself to life. When it came around to it he had become an even better and self improved person. As it goes these things were changed in time and helped him out in many different ways. After many days filled with variations such as everyone knows, like the rain or even the wind. Many wait for the sun to come. Others just drift through the days. Matt had a new found respect for everyday. He felt each was as important as the one that proceeded it or the one to come. There were joyous days and days of sorrow. But it was all mixed up into his life and he accepted all of it. He looked at everything individually to find how it was special. It was love that brought all of these things to him. And it was love that could also take it away. He shared what he could. Matt was spunky and full of energy and let it all show. Whatever it was that came to him he did something with it and didn’t hesitate. Like at the moment he just wanted to get a glass of lemonade. And that’s what he did. He went and got some lemons and sugar and made lemonade. Then he thought that some licorice might go well with the lemonade so he went back out to pick some up. After he was done with this he sat down and had some lemonade and licorice. Then he went to the cabinet and searched for some chips. After he rummaged around through the different bags and cans of food and such he came across his bag of chips and then pulled them out and opened up the bag. His day was going great. This is what he loved. The newness of everything and everyday and he constantly reminded himself that he was lucky to have all of this. As the day passed it turned into night and that night was to be a more special night for Matt. Matt was tending to his needs and sent for a friend. He was trying to meet new people as well as keep in touch with the friends he already had. One night about a week back Matt had gone out for a walk as he usually does. Well on that walk Matt had bumped into a lovely new face. He didn’t intend on this, but as it goes he ended up going out with this person.
