The blue-grey light of the room illuminated the white table cloth covering the small top of the table raised up on four skinny legs made of iron. A glass door stood to the side of the table and its two white chairs. On top of the table a bold red rose sat in a thin clear glass vase. All the while the white cloth napkins and silver utensils awaited the arrival of two guests.

Those two people would come to be joined by elegant food, kept by conversation, and would go from a sweet dessert. Meanwhile others would have their wine glasses refilled and watch the condensation of water glasses roll down the side of the crystal. Expensive porcelain would later be hand washed and dried with care.

Sometimes candles would help to keep the night alive. With the sudden whisper a candle could be blown out, unless it was left to fade with the night. A bright moon and a sparkling sky weren't always the only one's to welcome the coming morn, but certain times they were left with a message for the warm light of morning to tell.
